Mary Doré Falconer moved to Gower in 1996. She has opened the Gower Studio, where she specializes in watercolours, and holds teaching classes here twice a week.


Exhibitions of her work are held regularly throughout South Wales and she has exported works to Belgium, Russia, Sweden, France, USA, Denmark and Japan

Mary has a long-held belief that everybody can find pleasure in painting. We just need to be shown how. To this end Mary has produced 2 teaching videos entitled 'Begin to be Good in Watercolour', in which she takes you step by step through dozens of simple painting techniques.

Mary runs her own well established school of art at Gower Studio.  Some of her pupils have now exhibited, and sold their art.
Mary herself is becoming increasingly recognised throughout Wales for the excellence of her paintings, both in watercolour and oil.
